Adopotion Fee....275.00+10.00(chip fee) Meet Reece. He was found as a stray and unclaimed from the shelter. He is a very sweet , affectionate black and tan/dapple dachshund. He's about a year old and weighs 12 pounds. He gets along with other dogs and has been exposed to children without having any trouble. He is housebroken and will eat just about anything put in front of him. He loves stuffed animals and is a very well behaved boy that will make a wonderful companion. He is on heart worm and flea preventative. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten. Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
