BIO: Bambi is a sweet and adorable puppy that enjoys physical contact with her human and loves giving kissesandgetting as close as she can. She has lots of puppy energy and loves to play by herself or with her new foster brother and sister. She has no idea that she’s only 5 lbs and loves to try and tackle them. She is especially adorable when she tries to catch her pesky tail. Bambi is a champion when it comes to puppy pad training but we’re working on going outside. We’re also working on crate training. She doesn’t like to be left alone right now, since everything is still so new to her, but after a few minutes she settles down and goes right to sleep. This little girl is a real gem and sure to bring joy to your home!
If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above. If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, there will be an additional $35 Fee for the required Health Certificate.
We will not adopt into the state of CT or MA due to strict laws regarding importation of dogs into those states. If you have an issue with this you need to take this up with your legislatures. We are working hard to get approved to bring dogs into the state of NH and until that happens we cannot adopt to anyone in that state either.
Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
