BIO: Meet Natasha!
Natasha came from a very high kill shelter where she was found as a stray. If AADR hadn’t of stepped up this little lady would have never made it out of the shelter.
We don’t know about Natasha’s past, but we can tell you she is a sweetie. She is great with kids, likes other dogs, doesn’t know a stranger, doesn’t mind cats, uses a doggie door like a PRO (no accidents in her foster home), crate trained, and LOVES cuddle time. If she feels you are not giving her the attention she deserves she will come up to your feet & start pawing at your toes until you show her some lovin’. She loves to play with her foster sister. Natasha is VERY vocal at play time & will growl & bark while playing but she isn’t being aggressive, just talking. Natasha will also jump up and give you a high-five if you ask her for it.
We really can’t say anything negative about Natasha only that her foster home will surely miss her when she finds her forever home.
If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above. If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, there will be an additional $35 Fee for the required Health Certificate.
We have now been approved to adopt and transport into the state of Massachusetts but there are guidelines the organization and adopters must follow. If adopting and before filling out the adoption form please e mail aadrpresident@gmail.com to get the guidelines and expenses that must be followed.
Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
