BIO:
Millie is a courtesy listing and not associated with All American Dachshund Rescue. Please contact Susan at the e-mail listed above for further details on Millie and how to adopt her.
Millie is a female, terrier blend who is approximately 25-30lbs and 3-4 years old. She currently lives in a foster home with cats, which she pays no attention to, and male/female dogs. Millie has been good with her house manners as long as she goes outside on a consistent schedule. She loves playing with her toys and sits on her foster mom’s lap getting love and affection.
Millie was found as a stray in a horrible thunder and lightning storm. We posted flyers of her, sent photo’s to all the shelters and vet clinics looking for her family, except nobody came forward to take her home. Millie heartbroken that her family has not claimed her and now only wants a home of her very own, one that will love her and keep her safe forever.
If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.

More about Millie
Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
