BEING FOSTERED IN NY STATE!!

Raymond "RAY" came from MS when his own had to give them up. He was shipped up here to Middle TN to another rescue but that rescue had to turn him over to us due to personnel reasons. RAY has been with me for about 2 weeks now and he gets along with all the fosters and the owners dogs. He loves to sleep in the big bed and will ask for you to put him up there. He also plays some with the other dogs. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash and rides great in a car and is crate trained. If you are looking for a STANDARD look no further, here is your boy. RAY is very sweet and loves his humans family too. He is UTD on all shots, chipped and just had a dental. He's ready to go to his new home.
Out of State and Canidian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arranements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
