SIERRA is UTD on all shots, on Interceptor and Frontline. She is being re-homed due to she is afraid of small children. She is fine with other dogs, adult children and adults she just is too afraid of small children. The family loves her very much but feels she would do better in an adult home so they contacted us to help them find just the right home for her. She is housebroken but if she gets mad at you she will potty in the house just to "show you" this is so dachsie!! Sierra is microchipped and the chip is to be put in your name once you know that you are keeping her. She is a great traveler, either in a car or motor home so she'd be great with a traveling older couple. Out of State and Canidian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arranements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten. Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
