BIO: Hello everyone…..I would like to introduce to Chili and Frankie. These two little men are brothers from the same litter. They are a bonded pair and would be eternally grateful to you if you would adopt them together.

Of all of the foster furkids I have taken in, these two little boys are by far the sweetest, happiest and most well adjusted pups I have had yet. There was no adjustment time needed…..they made themselves at home from the minute they walked through the front door. I have 4 dogs of my own and these two little guys made fast friends with them all immediately upon arrival. Even my cat tolerates them (they don’t chase cats). I have not seen one aggressive moment from either dog. There are no food issues either.

Frankie is the larger and most active of these two. He is a handsome boy that loves nothing more than to grab his tennis ball and play fetch with you. He actually chases down the ball and returns to your feet…….over and over and over again. He has fallen love with my yellow lab. He is constantly trying to kiss her! LOL!

Chili is the smaller of these two brothers and is much more of a lap dog. Chili loves his hugs and kisses (giving and getting). He never lets you leave his site when you are home together. He is so sweet and pretty that most people think he is a she.

Both dogs are totally housebroken and crate trained. They are not fussy eaters and they are both registered with the American Kennel Club and come with papers for their certified pedigree.

If you would please give these wonderful little boys a chance, I promise you will not regret it.

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $35 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.  We welcome out of state and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo.  Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options.  If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application.

More about Frankie and Chilli...MA

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
