BIO: Nestle is a sweet and loving little girl. The best word to describe her is cuddlely! She loves to sit in your lap and be pet, then she rolls over so you could have the pleasure of rubbing her belly. She loves rawhides and toys. She is crate trained and housebroken when taken out regularly. She gets along with other dogs and likes to lay in the backyard in the sun and fall asleep. She is a very active little girl but definitely not hyper since she likes to sit in laps. She comes to you willingly and is very submissive. She likes older children as well, goes right up to them to be pet. She was a breeder dog for maybe one litter and she is now looking to be a loving companion to someone, could that be you?
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $35 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE
More about NESTLE...FL
Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
