BIO:
This little doll baby is named Sassy. She came to us with her buddy Opey from a breeder. What is the best way to describe her? She likes to snuggle and spend hours giving you the privilege of rubbing her tummy while she relaxes on your leg or next to you. She is a really sweet dog whose main goal seems to only be allowed please and be accepted by her peoples.
During the day she will either spend it romping through our yard with her foster brothers and sisters chasing after our little five year old girl or spends it next to our daughter getting the proper education from cartoons or the public broadcasting station her locally (come on, a young, spunky doxie girl has to keep up to date on the happenings with this Cat in the Hat fellow or what is going on with Perry the Platypus). She does incredible with our little girl. The only aggression that Sassy has even shown is if some other puppers think they should have her favorite chew nubby. Even then, it is only a low growl to let them know to wait their turn. Many times during the day if we want to find Sassy we just need to check the recliner with our daughter in it and Sassy is snuggled next to her.
Feeding time is not an issue. We feed our entire group in separate areas and bowls to prevent any unwanted “discussions” about whose food it is. Typical of all doxies she approaches meal time with joy and vigor each setting. Once she is done she goes over to the door and begins doing her little potty dance. She is house broken and will let you know when she has to go out. We have had very few accidents and those were when we didn’t notice her “telling” us she was ready.
When bedtime rolls around make sure you go and check the nearest set of blankets and covers. There is a 100% chance that Ms. Sassy has created a little cave that she has scratched up to be her snuggle place for the evening. She does very well in the crate that she sleeps in at night. Now, this isn’t to say that she is against sleeping in the big bed as well. In fact, if you let her, I guarantee that you will have a bed snuggle buddy at night if you let her. If you decide to just lounge the day away she will be content to snuggle next to you all day under the covers, popping out now and again for the mandatory belly rub and give you some kisses to let you know that you are loved and appreciated.
This little girl deserves a home that can return the warehouses of love that she has to give. She will truly be someone best friend if they only give her the chance. She is a friend that will not only return your love, but give you a lot of extra in return.
