We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.

BIO: Sweet Penny Lane will give you nothing but love. It seems she’d had a rough past because she is very skittish and passive. She is a quiet cuddly dog. She does have separation issues, but once she knows she is loved she will be the perfect, sweet dachshund. She does well with other dachshunds and other female dogs. She is okay with males as long as they aren’t too frisky. Her ideal home would be one with another playmate. She is very kind to kids, but is easily intimidated by young kids.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
