Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteer that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.

Unfortunately, this scenario is happening more and more and the family pet gets "cut" from the budget. But, Keno must have been treated kindly and not abused because he walked in here like he’d lived here forever----just needed to know what time dinner was served and where his bed was! He's fine with both males and females and is a bundle of energy. He is giving his foster brother, a 2 year-old dachshund mix with long legs, a run for his money! He would love to have a home with another energetic dog to play with and kids to romp in a fenced yard----the perfect combo for Keno. He's OK with other dogs, kids, cats, and is housetrained----what's NOT to love about Keno! Keno is a VERY handsome young man and his foster mom thinks he may be even younger than his bio states. He's got the prettiest white teeth. He's also a smart boy and would enjoy obedience training and learning to please his people. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
