BEING FOSTERED IN VIRGINIA

THIS BOY IS BEAUTIFUL!!
LOW-RYDER came to us from the deep south of AL; an owner surrender we believe, but not much else is known about him. He is a gorgeous dog to say the least. He has partial blue eyes and just loves his humans. He gets along with most all dogs, better with females than males but NO KIDS UNDER 12. Cats we don't know about. He is UTD on all shots, was heartworm negative and now on Interceptor and Frontline and he even had a dental. He is ready to come into your home and be a part of your family. He is house trained to a doggie door but we think would be easy to train to no doggie door as he is eager to please. If you'd like to see more pics or know more about LOW-RYDER please contact his foster mom and she can tell you all about him. He does love to sleep in the big bed under the covers of course.

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
