BIO: Meet Mya and Mini. These two girls are really bonded. They get crated together, sleep right next to each other at night and play very well together. They were surrendered by their owner with their sister molly but molly is younger and not as bonded as these two were to each other. They are great girls. They are a little hefty so they need to lose a few lbs which I'm working on. Mya is a sweet heart and loves to be close to her foster momma. Mini is laid back and loves attention from her foster parents. They like to lay on a blanket I put on the floor for them since they are a bit chunky and can't jump. Mya is a little bow legged but she doesn't let that slow her down. Mini is just a Gem. They lay next to my daughter who's 15 months old and let her touch them and give them hugs and kisses. They also play really well with my three male dachshunds. Do you have room in your home for these two beautiful beauties? They will light up you day and make the world seem like a better place. Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $25 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
