FOSTER HOME (NAME, CITY & STATE, ZIP, EMAIL)

Stephanie Daniels, Jackson, MS, stefandjess39211@yahoo.com

BIO:  Noah, is extremely lovable and loves attention.   He is housebroken, plays well with other dogs and cats.   We have 3 cats , 1 other female foster named Honey,  and Tessie which we got as a puppy.   Sometimes it looks like a zoo around my house but we love all of them.  Noah is truly a sweetie and would make a wonderful pet

Noah at first was a little food aggressive but over the past few weeks that has gone away. I think at some point in his young life he had gone hungry.   He would never attempt to bite anyone just a low growl at one of the other pets.   The only thing I might add to his being with small children is that he loves to greet you and tends to jump at you. We are working on this but he is so sweet it’s hard to scold him.  With a small child this might be a problem since he could easily knock a smaller child down.

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $25 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.  We welcome out of state and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo.  Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options.  If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application.

More about Noah....IL

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
