We don't know why but the shelter that took him in did find out he was heartworm postive so he is going thru treatment right now and will be ready to go to his new home after the 2nd of Aug. Get back ladies cause this man is HANDSOME and so so sweet. He prefers the ladies and this could be because he belonged to a woman but he's also fine with men. Crawls into my husbands lap to watch TV. He's fine with other dogs male and female but don't know about cats. He is good with kids over 8 yrs. If you are looking for a handsome man to walk around town with here he is. Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
