Update from Oz's foster  mom: I think Oz is just the best dog in the whole world.  He loves everyone and is a great kisser.  He listens and comes on command .  He thinks he is a lap dog, but is a bit too big,  There is absolutely nothing bad to say about Oz.  He is beautiful, healthy, well trained and very loving to all.  He really has to kiss his other dachshund friends goodnight before going to bed.  What a sweety!  

Ozzy is a 10 year old beauty.  Black and tan standard dachshund about 15 pounds.  LOVES to run and sniff.  We are working on getting him to be more trusting and come when he is called.  He would do best with some room to run- a nice fenced in yard or an adult who can spend some time hiking in the woods.  I think an adult home would be best - Ozzie is very sweet and loves attention.  A really great dog. BIO:

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
