MHUJI BHUR(MOOGEE BUR) came in with MOONIE MAE but do not need to get adopted together. They just came from the same breeder. MOOGEE BUR is more shy then MOONIE MAE but not by much. She also walks around wagging her tail and happy to see everyone. She is UTD on all shots, spayed and had a good dental, did lose some teeth but not bad. She is ready and willing to go to her new home and becuase she is more shy than her counter part we'd say kids over 12 for MOOGEE BUR. Cats are fine and other dogs male and female are fine, she is not aggressive at all, very laid back and passive. We feel she does need to go to a home with a doggie door and fenced in yard as she won't tell you when she has to go but will use the doggie door when she has too. MOOGEE BUR is also heartworm free and on Interceptor and Frontline and wants to be a part of your family, please don't disappoint her. She will sleep in the doggie bed beside your chair or your bed, is not a jumper or barker. Out of state and Canadian adoptions are welcome. We have several transporters that for a fee will bring the dog as close to you as possible up the Eastern seaboard. A home visit is required on all adoptions. We also micro chip all our dogs and must pass the cost on to the adopter. It is only $10.00. Thank you for your interest in a rescue. AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
