BIO: Popper is not blind but is likely deaf.....
Popper and his brother, Luke, came from East TN when a person bred a dapple to a dapple.
Without knowledge of genetics you can get the issues that these two little guys have. Popper is deaf, but he MORE than makes up for it in sweetness.
(they said daddy was deaf and mom is blind).
Popper is a little lover boy! He loves to be held, cuddled and LOVED.
Because of his issues, we want to find a family that is familiar with these types of dogs, either blind dogs or deaf dogs or both. We need a fenced in yard for him, someone home to help him learn house breaking, and someone who is patient.
You have to be willing to commit to this little boy and his bother Luke so you need to be aware of the challenges of having little Popper as part of your family. We will be very picky where he goes. Popper didn’t ask to be born like this so we have made a promise to him that he’ll be cared for the rest of his life and live with his brother.
If you have experience with double dapples and/or differently-abled dogs and are thinking of adding to your pack, then please e-mail his foster mom for more info or apply on line.
