BIO: Dolly Polly came to the rescue along with Babylove because their owner was no longer able to care for them. She has not been in our home for very long, but so far Dolly is a very sweet little girl who gets very excited when it is time to eat or if she wants a treat. She will spin in circles and bark with excitement especially for a treat! She loves a good lap to snuggle on and is a great bed partner at night. Dolly will bark, but not as much as the other dogs. She will listen to see if it is really worth barking for and if it is, she will join in. This sweet girl has pretty good potty habits and will go outside or on a potty pad. We just have not yet figured out her cue that she needs to go, but we offer regularly. She does not appreciate the crate and will go in begrudgingly with a KONG and soft blanket to snuggle in. Dolly is also not very comfortable being picked up although she will let you. No matter where you go in the house, she will be your shadow, and when you sit, she will be the first in your lap if she doesn’t beat you in the chair! This little peanut just needs lots of love and devotion and someone to enjoy being her Mommy and/or Daddy. Look for updates in the next week or two! Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteer that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
