Herman..PA
I am a very happy chiweenie! I know my people love me, mom is always huggin, kissin me, rubbin my belly and today I got to go to Paw Print Gifts and spend the whole day with mom entertaining the customers that came in the shop. Mom and Dad's daughter owns a pet gift shop in Lititz, Pa. And mom volunteers once a week. You know my mom and dad are married 49 years and in all those years mom told me dad never ever came home from work and got on the floor and played with any of their other dogs, but he comes home now and gets down on the floor and plays with me. I feel real special!!! I love them! I am doing well, no accidents, am very mannerly and I just love to crawl under the covers with them and sleep in bed. Dad took me for a walk when we had nice weather and he said he had to walk fast, he couldn't believe I could walk so fast with such little legs. Every day is a new fun day here! I love you very much for being my foster mom but I want you to know I am happy with my furever people. Thanks for sending food and special treats, and my winter coat along with me. Mom told me to tell you, a big thank you for everything. I'll keep in touch. Love Herman

Heather...PA
This is Tara, The owner of Rescued Heather. I just wanted to give you an update about Heather and a new picture. She is doing well. She loves her new home as well as her new family. She meet the whole family during Thanksgiving and they absolutely love her! She still suffers from anxiety here and there, but is starting to feel like she is staying with me with permanently. Heather looks and acts very happy! Most of all, she acts like a loved dog! Thanks again for rescuing Heather!
Your dachshund loving friend,
Tara
Heidi #2...MD
Here are a few pics of Bella (Heidi#2) at the beach today. She LOVES her walks on the boardwalk and beach...so many people and other dogs. We have a tough time walking since Bella wants to stop to say hello to EVERYONE...2 legged and 4 legged. She is such a hit...such a social little lady and everyone loves her...adults, kids, and other dogs. Bella is a great swimmer too. She swims across tide pools with such ease and delight. The owner of the pet shop we frequent has asked if Bella can be their spokes person because she looks so adorable in doggy attire and doesn't mind being dressed up. The owner and employees light up whenever we come through the door. We met a woman on the boardwalk who asked us if we would be interested in obtaining the 12-week training course so Bella can be in their special reading program at the library. The program is for special children, regular children learning to read as well as adults. The children read (teach dogs) to the dogs and learn much quicker since they don't feel they are being judged. We are seriously considering this offer. We think Bella would be perfect for the cause.
Bella weighs almost 7 lbs. now. She finished up her meds after 2 negative scrapings. We were given a clean bill of health. BTW, everyone at the vets love her too and the vet always takes her into the back so the staff can enjoy her. We will be scheduling her spay appointment for the first of December.
Bella is very intelligent and has learned a number of commands...sit, lie down, get your toy, jump, and she can jump up in our laps now without picking her up, where she spends most of her time. She rarely barks so we are still having a challenge to get her to communicate when she needs to go potty. Although we keep a close eye on her and take her out regularly. We have a puppy pen and as soon as she is finished her business she stands up on the side to let us know she is ready to come out.
Enjoy the pics!
Love & Light,
Ruthie, Ken & Bella
Hector..MD
Hector is adjusting well and we all love him very much!! He has a lot of energy and keeping my 5 yr old wein active. Lol. Hector LOVES his backyard and his doggy door so he can come and go as he pleases. He loves bunnies and tries to catch them and follows their scent for hours. He is very funny and very sweet & loving. He loves attention and enjoys being pet. He's pretty much attached to me when I'm home. ~ Amy
