Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteer that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast. Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
DOXI was given up because the wife “hated” the dog so
DOXI had to go. We just can’t figure out why, she’s wonderful!! House broken,
good with kids, cats and other dogs. She is fine with men and women. We are
looking for a home for her that will love her furever. What could you not like
about this girl, we already love her and she’s easy to foster. She does like
the fenced in yard so we say that is a must but does also walk on a leash. For
being 8 she is in excellent health and just waiting for the right family to
come along and love her for her. Please give DOXI a chance to show you what a
wonderful dog she is.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our
dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them
to go by ground transport.
If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then
there will be an additional $35 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK
YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
If you have questions
about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address
listed above. We welcome out of state
and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo. Please Read Before You
Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this
Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application.
More about DOXI...TN
Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
