ESTELLE was surrendered from a breeder along with VERDIE. ESTELLE is just as sweet as she is long!! She was shy when she first came here but now that she has gotten used to us she prances around here like she owns the place(I'm not telling her any different and don't you either)!! She wags her tail and loves to be picked up and loved on. She did have a cherry eye that we fixed and she did loose quite a few teeth but we have her on soft food and when her mouth gets healed she should be able to eat some hard food. She loves to go outside and wander in the fenced yard and just enjoy the sun and other dogs. She would also need another dog in the home so she can continue to learn how to be a pet. If you are interested in this little MINI MIGHT please contact the foster mom. This little girl will make a great addition to any family that wants a happy go lucky little might of a girl.
WE WILL NOT SHIP OUR DOGS CARGO, TOO MANY HORROR TALES HAVE HAPPENED FOR US TO FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING THIS. IF WE CAN'T TRANSPORT BY LAND THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO FLY TO THE CITY THAT THE DOG IS BEING FOSTERED IN TO GET HIM/HER. Out of state and Canadian adoptions are welcome. We have several transporters that for a fee will bring the dog as close to you as possible up the Eastern seaboard or down to FLORDIA. A home visit is required on all adoptions. We also micro chip all our dogs and must pass the cost on to the adopter. It is only $10.00. It is also best to have a dog in mind that you would like to adopt or if you don't please let us know that you'd like a dog that best fits your lifestyle. Keep in mind that we are all volunteers and have other obligations so please let your references and vet know that we will be calling to vai all info that you put on your application. If you use two vets then please let us know that so we get all info on your dog possible to determine if you are a suitable home for our dog. If you do not let us know these things this maybe the factor that you will be turned down to adopt one of our dogs.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
