BIO:
Marina is one special little girl. She came from a rural shelter in KY where she was picked up as a stray. She was very scared in the shelter but was so happy when she was out of there with all the barking dogs. At first she just didn’t know about things but as she realized she was in a safe place and we were going to take care of her that’s when her true personality started to shine through.
Marina loves a lap and if she can’t have your lap then she wants to be in the room with you.
Marina needs to lose just a little more weight cause she came to us at at least a couple lbs over weight and we all know how that can affect a dachshunds back.
Marina has the cutest walk. She does great with the other dogs but does sometimes try to boss the other females in rescue but it’s only minor. She will go in a crate when you leave with no problem and the foster family feeds her in a crate so she has a positive feeling about crates. She loves to be outside so a fenced in yard would be best for her since she was picked up as a stray, either had dug out or was just left to wander. Her lucky day when AC picked her up.
This girl is great and you won’t regret adopting this beauty!
