BIO: Kadie was #2 of 4 puppies born to cutie pie Recee. Recee was found as a stray all alone and pregnant. She was taken into foster care and 1 week later had her precious puppies. Kadie has longer legs than the other puppies. She is super curious and loves to cuddle in your lap. Kadie is a typical puppy that loves to explore, chew, and play. Puppies will be dewormed and receive 2 sets of shots one at 6 and 9 weeks. Adopter will be responsible for last set of shots at 12 weeks and rabies

PUPPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO GO HOME Just after  January 22^nd  just after their 9 week puppy shots. As the puppies are so very small they are NOT available for volunteer/paid transport and must be picked up/ meet the foster parents in Auberry (Fresno) CA

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
